Fellowship

We regularly gather together for dinners and fellowship at the church.  During the Lent and Advent seasons we come together prior to our mid-week worship for dinner and fellowship.  Other activities have included co-ed Volleyball, Softball, Ski Trips, Picnics, Talent Shows, and other social events.  This is a congregation that takes advantage of every opportunity it can to connect with each other.

Lay and Member Involvement

Members actively participate in and help with worship services, and enjoy being called upon to visit others for and with the Pastor.  For many, this body serves as an extended family since many of our relatives are outside of the state.  The church is eager to expand in service to Jesus and the community.  We have been blessed with many talents among ourselves and strive together to become true men, women, and children of Christ.

Alaska Mission for Christ

We are actively involved in the Alaska Mission for Christ.  It trains lay ministers, opens preaching and teaching stations on the rivers, highways, and villages of Alaska, and sponsors the largest geographical-area church in the world:  Denali Lutheran Church.  Our involvement with them includes helping with Vacation Bible Schools, supporting and going to communities throughout Alaska for evangelistic outreach and being a host congregation for groups who come to serve in Alaska.
