Calling all men and young men!  On the first and third Saturday mornings of the month from 8:30-10:00 AM, we gather to be fed a hot breakfast followed by being fed by God's Word.  This fall, we will see how we can "Stand Strong" based on 1 Peter.

Sunday School and Adult Bible Class Return September 19th
After taking a break for the summer, our Youth Sunday School and Adult Bible Classes return on Sunday, September 19th.  The Adult Class will be looking at "Good Questions," a Biblical look at questions Christians are often asked about their life of faith and how we can respond clearly.  These classes are on Sunday morning from 10:30-11:30 AM.

Welcome to the Youth and Family Page!

"Do not let anyone look down on you because you are young, but set an example for the believers in speech, in life, in love, in faith and in purity."
~ 1 Timothy 4:12

Purpose Statement
Our primary mission is to foster in the youth a lifelong relationship with Christ. Through this process, the youth of Our Redeemer Lutheran Church will see that they are beautiful children of God, created for a special purpose and to share the Gospel with others. (Ephesians 2: 12 – 13)

Ministry Goals
-          Faith is a lifelong process and our goal is to walk side by side with the youth as they discover what their faith means to them.
-          For the youth to be aware of God’s presence around them, how Christ works through others, and to see other’s as valued children of God. (1 Corinthians 12:12 – 13)
-          To have the youth, their family and the church family work together. (“From him the whole body, joined and held together by every supporting ligament, grows and builds itself up in love, as each part does its work.” Eph. 4:16)
-          To teach the endless love and forgiveness of Christ and that no matter what choices or mistakes are made, Jesus’ grace and forgiveness is for all. (“But God demonstrates his own love for us in this; while we were still sinners, Christ died for us.” Romans 5:8)
-          To no longer live as the World does but to be imitators of Christ. (“Be imitators of God, therefore, as dearly loved children and live a life of love, just as Christ loved us and gave himself up for us, as a fragrant offering and sacrifice of God.” Ephesians 5: 1-2)

The Functions of Youth Ministry
